A student group photographed together at the end of a programme.
Industrial visits

The hard part is not the coach. It is getting through the gate.

Access to working sites, arranged properly, with the safety clearance done before your group is standing outside.

What this is

Industrial visits for schools and colleges

Any operator can drive a group to a factory. The value is entirely in whether the plant has agreed to receive students, whether the shift is the right one, whether the safety induction is booked, and whether someone senior enough to answer a good question has been asked to be there.

We arrange the visit against the group’s course, not against whoever said yes fastest. Age limits, personal protective equipment, photography rules and shop-floor restrictions vary by site and are confirmed in writing before the school commits to dates.

What we handle
  • A visit that was actually agreed Confirmed in writing with the site, against a named date and a named shift.
  • A written safety protocol, published in full and applied without exception.
  • Headcount discipline at every transition, recorded rather than remembered.
  • A costed plan showing the logistics, before the school commits.
  • One coordinator, reachable at any hour, travelling with the group.

What students come back with

Not photographs. Method.

Four things this programme is designed to leave behind. If it cannot deliver them, it is the wrong programme and we say so.

01A visit that was actually agreedConfirmed in writing with the site, against a named date and a named shift.
02Safety cleared in advanceAge limits, protective equipment, walkways and photography rules, all confirmed before departure.
03Someone worth askingA person from the operation, briefed on the group’s level, rather than a reception tour.
04A prepared groupA short brief goes to the school beforehand, so the questions on the day are good ones.

The shape of it

How the days are built.

A shape, not a schedule. Yours is built around your dates, your year group and what the trip has to achieve.

BeforeMatch the site to the courseWhat the group is studying decides the plant, not the other way round
BeforeClearanceWritten confirmation, safety requirements, protective equipment counted and carried
On the dayInduction firstNobody enters an operating area without the site’s own briefing
AfterDebriefA structured session while it is fresh, so the visit becomes coursework

Length, region and season are set against your academic calendar and your budget. No prices are published because a school group is costed against its own headcount, dates and inclusions, never against a brochure rate.

Before anything else

A school buys supervision before it buys a destination.

Every programme on this site runs to the same written protocol. It is published in full, because a teacher who is personally accountable should not have to take it on trust.

  • A named supervision ratio for this activity and this year group, in the proposal.
  • Headcounts at every transition, recorded against a written list.
  • Certified instructors and their own equipment, or the activity is removed.
  • An evacuation route and named facility written for every night.
Plan this programme

Tell us the year group. We will call you back.

Two minutes to send, and a coordinator calls the school back. No prices are quoted until we know the headcount, the dates and what the trip has to achieve.

Also on WhatsApp.
