A student group photographed together at the end of a programme.
All programmes

Thirteen programmes. One standard.

Grouped by what they teach and how they run. Every one is rebuilt around your syllabus, your year group and your dates.

Learning programmes

Learning programmes.

Built around a syllabus outcome. The academic objective is written on the plan and the trip is judged against it.

A tiger in sal forest, the kind of park a conservation programme is built around.

Wildlife & conservation

Naturalist-led days inside a working reserve, with the field method, the buffer villages and the conflict included rather than edited out.

Best forBiology, environmental science, geographySee the programme
A high meadow in flower, a living site for environmental field work.

Environmental studies

Built backwards from one question the group is going to answer, with the kit, the permissions and the people arranged so they can actually answer it.

Best forEnvironmental science, geography, IB ESSSee the programme
Stone temples at Hampi, a site worth building a project around.

Project study tours

The deliverable is agreed first. Every visit, interview and free afternoon then has to earn its place by moving the group closer to it.

Best forCoursework, extended essays, field reportsSee the programme
Craft and community country in Kutch, the kind of setting a CAS service placement runs in.

CAS learning

Learning outcomes mapped to the days before the trip is booked, and service that a host organisation actually asked for.

Best forIB Diploma CAS, MYP service as actionSee the programme
Schoolchildren working a paddy alongside the person who farms it.

Sustainable habitat

A vernacular settlement and a rated modern building, compared on the same criteria, with the readings taken by the students.

Best forGeography, design and technology, architectureSee the programme
Out of the classroom

Out of the classroom.

Shorter, closer, and more frequent. The trips most often planned in a hurry, which is exactly why they get the full protocol.

A school group crouched over a fallen log with their guide, recording what they find.

Field trips

Planned around one stated objective, on a site we have walked ourselves, with the timings, the toilets and the wet weather already handled.

Best forAny subject, any year groupSee the programme
A school group in caps and coats on the floor of a working plant, after the safety induction.

Industrial visits

The value is access. Written confirmation, the right shift, the safety induction booked, and someone senior enough to answer a good question.

Best forCommerce, science, engineering, vocationalSee the programme
A working session of the kind an in-school outreach programme runs as.

Indoor outreach

For the year group that is not travelling this term. Your hall, your timetable, the equipment brought in.

Best forOn-campus sessions, whole year groupsSee the programme
A park ride against palms, the shape of a school day out.

Picnics & excursions

The trip most often planned in a hurry, run to the same written protocol as a week away. Counts at every transition.

Best forDay trips, whole year groupsSee the programme
Longer journeys

Longer journeys.

Residential and multi-day. A coordinator travels with the group from first pick-up to last drop.

A graded trail in the Annapurna foothills, the shape of a school trek.

Hiking & trekking

Graded to the slowest walker, with acclimatisation days that stay in the plan and an evacuation route written for every night.

Best forClasses 8 to 12, award schemesSee the programme
A camp pitched at dusk, the setting for a residential school camping programme.

Camping

The night protocol matters more than the activity list. Tent allocation, adult positions, curfew and the count after lights out, all decided before departure.

Best forClasses 4 to 12, residentialSee the programme
A monument on the Delhi, Agra and Jaipur road, one of many regions a school tour crosses.

Domestic tours

One coordinator travels with the group and holds the plan, the counts and the contingencies. Teachers get to teach, and to sleep.

Best forClasses 5 to 12, four to ten nightsSee the programme
The Singapore skyline at dusk from the bay, one destination on an international programme.

International tours

Starts with the paperwork rather than the destination, because the paperwork decides whether the destination is possible.

Best forClasses 8 to 12, IB and international curriculaSee the programme
A note on prices

There are no prices on this site.

Not as a sales tactic. A school group is costed against its own headcount, dates, room splits, dietary counts and inclusions, and any published rate would be a number we later have to walk back. Tell us the group and you get a costed plan with the logistics visible, usually within a few working days.

Plan a school tour

Not sure which one fits? Say what you are teaching.

A coordinator calls the school back and proposes two or three options against your syllabus, your year group and your window.

Also on WhatsApp.

  • A costed plan, not a brochure
  • Two or three options, not twenty
  • The safety protocol in writing
  • India or abroad
